The first picture was taken after 3km of running on a jeep track worn out by the sheep of Keiskie farm near Calvinia in the Hantam district of the Northern Cape, South Africa! My route took me past the biggest dam on the farm and into the kloof from where you get an awesome view of Arendskop. At about 1000m AMSL, this is quite a tough 11km run.
Interesting: Arendskop (Eagle's hill) looks exactly like an eagle from a distance. The hill is actually part of Kliprug, the farm next to Keiskie.
