Once upon a time, before trail running, before Parkour, we hiked up various mountains in South Africa and ran down like crazy people… we called it Extreme Jogging. This blog is a tribute to the good old days, friends & family, my Creator and everybody that love running in nature!
It is now becoming that time of the year where the weather is great for trail running and bad for photo's! This morning we did 17km of glorious Jonkerhoek single track, with some decent altitude gain. We started with 5 sections of the Canary MTB trail, then linked to our favourite Eastern loop single track and then descended with all 3 sections of the Never Ending route. We also linked up with the single track in the middle of Jonkers before ending the run with a short section of jeep track.

Nice rock garden
Light at the end of the tunnel
Beautiful views into Jonkers as we did our normal route in reverse
