Helderberg Lower Trail Run

Location: Helderberg, Somerset West, South Africa

For this run I basically traced the lower boundaries of Helderberg Nature Reserve. I started on the Erinvale side and climbed the 3km without stopping - "goat-style" as Rya-dog would say. From here I took a nice single track down and connected to the jeep track next to the fence on the other side. From here on I went all the way down to the big reservoir dam at the bottom. I ran on the dam wall and then got stuck behind a fence. Eventually I finished the run after jumping over a fence and a little stream.
