Outeniqua Trail Run

Extremeness: Wet with bundu bashing in some places

Location: Denneoord, George, South Africa
Joggers: Only me

This weekend we visited my folks in George and I took the opportunity to do a quick extreme jog on part of the Outeniqua hiking trail. The natural forest was beautiful and fairly wet. There were spider webs everywhere and I ran with a stick held out in front of me - which only helped with half of the webs. In addition to the many spiders, I saw a Bushbuck and was attached by a thorn bush. I completed the single track and enjoyed it so much that I decided to take the same route on my way back!
