This afternoon I scouted the lower single tracks of Botmaskop for the quickest way up after the fire. In two weeks time we'll be going up Botmaskop and onto an awesome ridge into Jonkershoek. The great news is that most of the single tracks are cleaned up already. I climbed for about 4.6km and then took the same route down. I felt a lot better on the downhill, maybe I'm actually getting fitter.
