Today was our first day back in Jonkershoek after 3 months of running other trails. Again we confirmed that there is no place like home! We did the standard Western Loop and it is still devastating to see what the fire has done. The single track at the end of our standard loop was completely destroyed by the fire... we had to do some hill sliding and then returned to the gate via jeep tracks.
