Waenhuiskrans Trail Run

Our trail grading: BROWN 5A
Distance: 7km
Extremeness: Sand & more sand
Location: Waenshuiskrans, Bredasdorp, South Africa
Joggers: Cobus Potgieter & me

This Saturday we got up early to explore the diverse trails of Waenhuiskrans (aka Arniston). We started on a sandy jeep track that lead us to a dam. From here we had to bundu-bash to reach the "big dunes." We found another jeep track that took us to the coast from where we could see Struisbaai. We continued on the beach, running toward the Arniston beacon. After visiting the beacon we continued on fisherman's trails towards the Arniston Cave. We explored the beautiful low water cave and then headed home.
