Back in the country, we started with the stock standard Jonkershoek circle route - anti-clockwise. It was extremely cold and I was still struggling to get use to not being on a warm and sunny Indian Ocean island. We started off slowly and picked up the pace considerably on the way back... 23min on the last 5km.
