Yesterday I did my final run of the long weekend. I decided that I would run to the first beacon on Stellenbosch Mountain, but did not bargain that my legs would be stones. I struggled from the word go, but decided to push through. I said a little prayer at the cross on top and safely negotiated my way down the technical single track.
