Spur Cape Summer Trail Series 2015 (Race 2)
Our trail grading: YELLOW 7A
Distance: 9.62km
Extremeness: Technical single track
Extremeness: Technical single track
Location: Constantia Greenbelts, Constantia, South Africa
Joggers: Me and a few hundred other runners
This was another well organised event by the Wildrunner team! The run started with a fairly easy climb, which became a tough short scramble before you hit the contour route. Going down was lots of fun with proper technical single track and slippery pine needles. I exhausted myself by picking up my pace when the frontrunners of the short course joined us. I finished the race at a steady (somewhat slow) pace and the ice cold Bos Sport drink really hit the spot.
