This morning I was alone in Jonkershoek - accept for a number of mountain bikers. I started will all the sections of the Canary TB trail and then climbed to where the turn-off to the "saaltjie" is. After the 450m of altitude gain, and passing a couple of suffering cyclist, I headed down via the standard Eastern Loop Jeep tracks. The weather was perfect for trail running, but not so favourable for taking photos.
